The Sixth Annual Family Fireside Reading Challenge
The Sixth Annual Family Fireside Reading Challenge begins on January 4! Children (12 and under) can participate by picking up a reading log at the library, and trying to read 10 books (or twenty chapters) each week. Weekly prize drawings will be held for children who finish each week's challenge.
Afterschool Adventures at the Arnettsville Community Center
Children in elementary school (kindergarten through fifth grade) are welcome to attend this free, literacy-based afterschool program at the Arnettsville Community Center*. Programs run from 3:30-5:00 p.m., and may involve stories, games, and crafts. Parents
may register their children for each program by calling 278-7941, 278-9973, or 291-7425 ext. 137.
