Q. How can I get a library card?
A. In order to obtain a MPL library card, you will need photo ID and 2 proofs of your address--your driver's license, a checkbook, a bill, or any piece of mail with your address on it. You will also need to give the last four digits of your Social Security card. There
is no charge for a library card. However, there is $3.00 replacement fee for a lost or damaged
library card.
Q. How long is the loan period for library materials?
A. The loan period for library materials is three weeks, with the exception of dvds and video cassettes
--they can be checked-out for four days.
Q. Can I check out items if I don't have my library card with me?
A. No, you cannot. However, we will be happy to hold library
materials for you for up to twenty-four hours.
Q. I lost my library card. Can I get a new one?
A. Yes, you can. There will be a three dollar replacement cost
for a lost library card. It is important that you notify us
as soon as you realize that your card is missing--you are
still responsible for everything you have checked-out.
Q. Can I return items when the library is closed?
A. We have a drop box located at the front of the building.
Q. How many items may I checkout?
A. The amount varies based on the patron type. Please ask the librarian.
Q. Can I renew items over the phone?

or the bar code number on the item. You can renew items one time
for an additional three weeks, unless there is a reserve on it, then it may not be renewed. Videos cannot be renewed.
Q. How do I log on to my account?
A. Go to the Card Catalog. In the middle column click on My Millennium.
You will be prompted to enter your name, library card number and a PIN number. Please do not forget your PIN number
