Curiosity Quest Kids' 2014 Classes

The Morgantown Public Library offers special one-day & two-day enrichment classes for children kindergarten and up throughout the summer. (Please note that not all classes are open to all grade levels.) Grade levels are as of Fall 2014. Our mission is to provide children with a fun, safe place to explore topics of interest in-depth, through reading, crafts, music, games and hands-on activities.

Cost per student per class per day is $15. A two-day class is $30. Register in person at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of the library on Spruce St. Registration is not complete until payment and a completed registration form has been received. Make checks payable to Morgantown Public Library. Credit cards are not accepted. Children can register for as many classes as they like, but space is limited and classes fill fast. Online forms cannot be accepted.

Classes run from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Children must bring a bagged lunch. Vending machines and microwaves are not available & students must remain on library premises. Students will be supervised at all times. The Morgantown Public Library reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Refunds will only be given if the class is canceled.

Put your child's name on a wait list for a class that is filled & leave your email contact info. If a space becomes available, we'll contact you. If the wait list is very long, it may be possible to add an additional class.

For further information contact: Circulation Desk: (304) 291-7425; or Joan Bissett: (304) 599-0092 or mplcuriosityquest@gmail.com. Please visit our Facebook page for information and updates.

MPL reserves the right to discharge a student from enrollment in the CQ program if the child's actions or activities endanger the safety of other participants and staff or is a detriment to the quality of the program operation. Any tuition or unused amount of tuition will be refunded.
